Description
Walking in the Old Paths Songbook Volume III features the choir arrangements from one of the most popular and requested projects of the Concord Baptist Church Young People’s Revival Choir.
At the heart of this collection is I Just Stopped By, which became the most requested song ever performed by the Revival Choir. The songbook also contains many other favorites from the project, including Saved to the Uttermost, I’ll Take the Old Highway, I Just Started Living, It’ll Be Worth Every Mile of the Trip, He Is Mine, We Have a Hope, Resting Place, and I Just Want to Thank You Lord.
Also included is I Shall Return, written by Clint W. Kerns, ThD. The song was later recorded by The Greesons and reached the Top 40 of the Singing News chart, extending its ministry beyond its original performance by the Revival Choir.
These are the arrangements used by the Concord Baptist Church Young People’s Revival Choir and provide local church choirs with strong, singable music rooted in the traditional Southern Gospel sound.
