Church Choir Music exists to help local churches find practical, Christ-honoring music for their choirs and music ministries.
What began as music created and arranged for the needs of a local church choir has grown into a collection of sheet music, soundtracks, songbooks, youth choir projects, piano music, cantatas, instructional resources, and other materials designed with the local church in mind.
We understand church music because we have spent our lives in church music. The resources available through Church Choir Music are rooted in decades of hands-on ministry, working with church choirs, young people, musicians, congregations, and special music programs.
All music offered through Church Choir Music is arranged by Clint and Donna Kerns and professionally transcribed by Donna Kerns. Church Choir Music owns the copyright in these original arrangements and transcriptions, except where otherwise noted, while the underlying songs and compositions remain subject to the rights of their respective copyright owners.
Our purpose remains simple: to provide useful, accessible music and resources that honor Christ and help churches strengthen their music ministries.
A LIFETIME OF MUSIC MINISTRY
Clint and Donna Kerns have shared a life of music and ministry for nearly five decades, with more than 100 years of combined experience in church music.
Much of that ministry was spent serving through Concord Baptist Church and Faith Baptist Camp, where music was not simply something they did, but an integral part of their service to the Lord.
Together, Clint and Donna founded and directed the Concord Baptist Church Revival Choir, working with singers and musicians and developing music specifically suited to the needs of the local church. Their ministry together also included the production of six live youth choir projects and one studio project, preserving the music and spirit of those ministries for others to enjoy and use.
Donna served for more than 30 years as church pianist, playing both at Concord Baptist Church and at Faith Baptist Camp. Clint’s work in choir ministry, arranging, directing, teaching, preaching, and music production complemented Donna’s musicianship, creating a partnership that has continued through the development of Church Choir Music.
ChurchChoirMusic.com is, in many ways, an extension of that lifetime of ministry. It brings together the lessons learned in choir rehearsals, church services, youth choir trips, camp meetings, recording sessions, and decades of working with ordinary church musicians who simply want to use their talents for the glory of God.
Dr. Clint W. Kerns, ThD

Dr. Clint W. Kerns has spent most of his life in Christian ministry and church music. Called to preach as a teenager, he preached his first sermon in January 1980 and has served the Lord through pastoral ministry, preaching, teaching, choir ministry, music arranging, and Christian education.
His years of work with church choirs included helping found and direct the Concord Baptist Church Revival Choir, developing arrangements and music for singers who loved the Lord and wanted to serve Him through song. That practical experience continues to shape the philosophy behind Church Choir Music: arrangements should be musically effective, spiritually appropriate, and usable by real church choirs.
Dr. Kerns holds degrees in theology and ministry as well as a Master of Sacred Music and Doctor of Theology. His interests in ministry, music, teaching, and technology have come together through Church Choir Music and the larger SoGo Music family of ministries.
Through ChurchChoirMusic.com, his goal is to preserve worthwhile church music, develop new resources, and make Christ-honoring material readily available to churches and musicians around the world.
Sis. Donna K. Kerns

Donna Kerns has devoted more than three decades to serving the Lord through church music. As pianist for Concord Baptist Church and Faith Baptist Camp, she accompanied countless church services, choir programs, camp meetings, revivals, and special musical events.
Her musicianship has been an essential part of the music ministry she and Clint have shared. Donna’s work as a pianist, arranger, accompanist, and transcriber has helped turn musical ideas into practical arrangements that church musicians can actually use.
She has also developed her own piano arrangements and collections, including the Piano Praise series, bringing the same philosophy to instrumental music that guides Church Choir Music as a whole: music should be beautiful, practical, and above all, honoring to Christ.
Donna continues to contribute to Church Choir Music through arranging, transcription, musical development, and the experience gained from decades of accompanying singers and congregations in the local church.
