Description
Walking in the Old Paths is the third live recording of the Concord Baptist Church Young People’s Revival Choir and became one of the most popular and requested projects in the choir’s recording ministry.
The project features I Just Stopped By, which became the most requested song ever performed by the Revival Choir. It also includes favorites such as Saved to the Uttermost, I’ll Take the Old Highway, I Just Started Living, It’ll Be Worth Every Mile of the Trip, He Is Mine, We Have a Hope, Resting Place, and I Just Want to Thank You Lord.
The recording concludes with I Shall Return, written by Clint W. Kerns, ThD. The song was later recorded by The Greesons and reached the Top 40 of the Singing News chart, giving the song a ministry beyond its original performance by the Revival Choir.
Like the other Revival Choir projects, Walking in the Old Paths preserves more than just the songs. Recorded live, it includes introductions and testimonies that capture the atmosphere and spirit of the services in which this music was originally presented.
The complete project is provided as one convenient ZIP download containing all 18 MP3 audio tracks.
