Description
Glimpse of Glory is unlike any of the other recordings featuring the Concord Baptist Church Young People’s Revival Choir. Recorded live at Faith Baptist Camp, it captures a powerful service featuring evangelist Dr. Phil Kidd preaching a message presented in poetic form, interwoven with music by the Revival Choir.
Rather than simply recording a collection of songs, Glimpse of Glory preserves the progression of the service itself. Dr. Kidd's preaching moves in and out of the musical selections, with the Revival Choir singing at key points throughout the message. The result is a unique combination of preaching, poetry, and music that builds from the opening moments through the conclusion of the service.
Featured songs include I’ll Be Waiting at the River, It Is Well with My Soul, What a Day That Will Be, The Blood Has Been Supplied, Thank You, It’s Been Worth Every Mile, and Resurrection Ground, with the service ultimately returning to I’ll Be Waiting at the River as it moves toward its conclusion.
This was the only Revival Choir recording made live at Faith Baptist Camp, making Glimpse of Glory a unique part of the choir’s recorded history.
